The Coordination Group

The coordination group have the following tasks and powers:

Decision-making powers in the areas where the consortium agreement grants it the appropriate decision-making
   powers.

Preparing coherent strategy plans for the overall research platform, containing plans for platform updates, etc.

Ensuring that the use of the Facilities focuses on strengthening research, training, education and innovation; see the
   objectives of the research platform.

Ensuring optimum utilization of the individual Facilities; see the provisions regarding distribution of work and the focus of
   the individual Facilities.

Ensuring rational planning and coordination of research projects, including of applications for research programmes, etc.

Developing and entering into international collaborative efforts with leading foreign research infrastructures within the
   areas of electricity and energy.

Assessing whether it is appropriate to have a special budget for common expenses (operations and/or investments)
   and, if so, preparing a budget for submission to and approval by the Parties.

Ensuring appropriate development and maintenance of the Consortium Agreement.
