Center for Electric Power and Energy is partner in Parker Project. One of the three pillars of the Parker project is to develop a Grid Integrated Vehicle (GIV) certificate. But why is that important?
Parker Project, in which Center for Electric Power and Energy at DTU Elektro is partner, is to produce a Grid Integrated Vehicle (GIV) certificate which demonstrates whether vehicles and chargers are able to support the power grid. To do so is to fulfill one of the projects three pillars.
In order to do so, the project specifies the technical parameters (grid keys) needed by electric vehicles to provide power and energy services to the power grid.
The GIV certificate demonstrates the ability of electric vehicles to support such parameters.
