Late last year CEE extended the “EV family” with a Renault Kangoo and a Nissan Leaf. This is in order to accomplish the needs of transportation of employees between Lyngby and Risø campus.

Both vehicles are full Electric Vehicles and as such closely related to the research conducted by the research group and support functions. Driving patterns and lots of electric parameters will be logged and used for education and research purposes.

An EV infrastructure also needs charging posts. In close collaboration with CAS the setup of six charging posts at the two campuses is being planned. Some post are installed and ready to use and some are about to be commissioned. The installation and commissioning haven’t been without challenges and has proved the need for NEVIC – the Nordic EV Interoperability Center run by CEE and placed at Risø campus.
