Christoffer Greisen has been recruited to lead the project, EnergyLab Nordhavn, a project to demonstrate how electricity and heating, energy-efficient buildings and electric transport can be integrated into an intelligent and optimized energy system.

In December 2014, DTU CEE and its partners were granted 77 MDKK funding from EUDP for the EnergyLab Nordhavn project, which will run for the next 4 years.

This is the first collaboration of this magnitude to be established between relevant stakeholders from authorities, utility companies, industry and knowledge institutions with the aim of developing energy solutions. DTU CEE’s partners in the consortium are the City of Copenhagen, HOFOR, DONG Energy, CPH City & Port Development, ABB, Balslev, CleanCharge, METRO THERM, Glen Dimplex, the PowerLabDK Facilities, DTU BYG and DTU MEK.

It has therefore been important to the partners to recruit a dedicated project manager for the project. Christoffer Greisen brings a combination of broad technical understanding from various industries and solid project management tools. The last 5 years he has led technology development projects for Topsoe Fuel Cell (subsidiary of Haldor Topsoe), some of them supported by EUDP or EU FP7. He started his career as a development engineer at Danfoss in 2001.

Christoffer Greisen holds a M.Sc.Eng degree in applied physics from DTU and an IPMA C project management certification.
