In end September a succesful workshop was held between Siemens and DTU to discuss trends and prospects within a number of fields including energy systems.
At the workshop a presentation of the project Secure Operation of Sustanable Power Systems (SOSPO) headed by Center for Electric Power and Energy (CEE) was given by Prof. Mogens Blanke, and an overview of the technology trends within energy systems was given by CTO Michael Weinhold and Prof. Jacob Østergaard in collaboration download presentation. Several areas within power systems and smart grid were identified for future collaboration.
Siemens and CEE has a strategic collaboration agreement, and as a part of this Siemens has seat in CEE's center committee.
